  • Lessons of the Loess Plateau (52 min.) Documents the huge ecological restoration project in the Loess Plateau, China. Summarizing the main principles of terraqueous farming. Directed by John D. Liu, 2007.
  • Hope in a Changing Climate (22 min.) 2009 documentary that looks at the eco-system restoration on the Loess Plateau and related projects in Ethiopia and Rawanda. Directed by Jeremy Bristow and presented by John D. Liu.
  • Satoyama: Japan's Secret Water Gardens (2004, 50 min.) Directed by Masumi Mizunuma and narrated by David Attenborough.   • The Back to Nature Garden (25 min) 1981 documentary about the natural farming philosophy of Masanobu Fukuoka. "The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops but the cultivation and perfection of human beings."
